Research-Driven, Individualized Ketamine Care
Two Clinically Validated Approaches: IV Ketamine Infusion and Spravato®
At Better Health Whole Wellness Center, we offer ketamine therapy through two evidence-supported methods: intravenous (IV) infusion and Spravato® (esketamine) nasal spray. Extensive research supports IV infusion as the most validated method of administration, offering the strongest evidence for effectiveness, safety, and long-term outcomes. Spravato® is FDA-approved and covered by most major insurance plans, making it a clinically proven and financially accessible option for many patients. Our team works with each individual to determine which approach best aligns with their clinical profile, insurance coverage, and treatment goals — ensuring every patient receives care grounded in precision, consistency, and medical expertise.
Evidence-Based Ketamine Dosing Protocols for Safe, Effective Treatment
We follow published clinical research to guide our dosing protocols across both treatment modalities. For IV ketamine, our team administers infusions within the therapeutic range of 0.5–1.0 mg/kg of body weight over approximately 40 minutes. For Spravato®, treatment is administered according to FDA-approved protocols in our certified clinical setting. Our clinicians adjust each treatment with careful attention to individual needs, taking into account medical history, current medications, and any factors that may influence safety or response.
Data-Driven Progress Tracking and Follow-Up After Every Ketamine Infusion
Regardless of which treatment path a patient follows, we use digital mood assessments such as the PHQ-9 to track progress every two weeks. This data helps us identify when symptoms return and recommend booster sessions accordingly — whether that means an IV infusion or a Spravato® session. Results are shared transparently with patients and their providers, ensuring care decisions are informed, collaborative, and responsive to each patient’s ongoing needs.

A Whole-Person Ketamine Therapy Experience
A Calm, Restorative Ketamine Treatment Setting Designed for Your Comfort
We’ve designed our Rittenhouse Square space to be calm, restorative, and intentional — whether you’re receiving an IV ketamine infusion or a Spravato® nasal spray session. Each appointment includes time for psychological preparation before treatment and reflection afterward. Patients are invited to use our recovery areas to process their experience in a safe, supportive environment.
On-Site Provider with Anesthesiologist Oversight for Every Infusion
Every treatment session — IV ketamine or Spravato® — is administered with direct medical monitoring overseen by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant with a background in critical care. Patients receive one-to-one attention throughout their session. Our providers are highly trained in IV therapy, esketamine administration, and emergency response, ensuring safety at every step.
Personalized Ketamine Treatment Planning Tailored to Your Individual Needs
No two patients are alike. During your initial consultation we work with you to determine whether IV ketamine therapy or Spravato® is the most appropriate path forward. We recommend treatment frequency based on individual needs, guided by ongoing mood assessments and clinical input, ensuring care that is responsive, flexible, and designed for lasting benefit.

A Collaborative, Team-Based Approach to Ketamine Therapy
Thorough Patient Screening and Eligibility Assessment for Ketamine Therapy
We work with individuals diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, the depressive phase of Bipolar Disorder, as well as those navigating trauma, PTSD, and anxiety. Each patient’s eligibility for IV ketamine therapy or Spravato® is confirmed in partnership with licensed mental health professionals — including psychologists and psychiatrists — ensuring treatment is appropriate, evidence-aligned, and coordinated with existing care.
Most of our patients come to us through their mental health providers, but a referral is not required to begin care. We work with individuals who are already established with a therapist or psychiatric provider, as well as those who are not currently in treatment.
For patients without an existing care team, we can help guide next steps and coordinate support as needed. If you do have a provider, we encourage collaboration — our clinicians are happy to connect directly with your care team to ensure a thoughtful, coordinated approach.
Working Alongside Your Therapist, Psychologist, and Psychiatrist Throughout Treatment
Therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists remain central throughout each patient’s journey — regardless of which treatment modality they pursue. We share outcomes, invite clinical input, and provide educational opportunities to strengthen collaboration between our team and yours. Our goal is to build a community of providers aligned around patient wellness.
Expanding Access to Safe, Affordable Ketamine Therapy
At Better Health Whole Wellness Center, we adhere to the highest standards of care, holding certification from the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists and Practitioners (ASKP³). We believe expanding access to both IV ketamine therapy and Spravato® requires strong partnerships and a commitment to affordability. That’s why we offer IV sessions at $350*, work with insurance providers to cover Spravato®, and collaborate with therapists and psychiatrists all with the goal of making evidence-based ketamine care more achievable, reachable, and affordable for those who need it most.
